how should i make my new bumper, two tubes like my front, or just one channel going across, i want it super strong, so next time i am pulling out a chev i just break the tow rope[36][36]

use two tube set up. strong, look good and could make it fairly light.

ya, how big of tube's my front are 2 1/2 go with same for the rear?

No sense in making a strong bumper if you don't have something strong to muont it to. Its better to have the bumper as a fuse than the frame.

yap use the same size tube to match the front. 2 1/2 would look great. I made this bumper recently for my mog out of 3" tube 1/4" wall. used 1 1/8" pins for tow ropes and also a 3/8" plate for winch mount. I also put two 2" receiver tubes between the to pieces for future use. a bit too big for your application but give you some idea.
