Hey... im lookin to put in a limited slip rear end... really now clue on how to do it or how much it would cost... any info? and no.. i dont want a locker..

Dont do it. Limited slip is a waste of time IMHO. If you dont want a locker, then weld it :)

yah josh, i got a limited slip in my ford. its allright could be better.... but sometimes the slip isnt limited

ah i just dont wanna throw in a welded rear cuz its a DD and im strapped for cash... tires go bye bye fast haha, yea im just lookin at options right now

Lock the rear before the front my friend. A welded rear really isn't that bad. Just make sure your tire pressure is the same in both and try to avoid sharp corners. The amount that you save on welding it up is much better than going with an LSD. BTW, LSD's are fairly pricey.

you mean 1.9TDi??

They have a 1.6TD and a 1.9TDi. The 1.9TDi is about $3500 for block, tranny, ECU and harness. 1.6TD is about $1500-$2000 for everything. Add on the adapter for about $750 CDN. Gets pretty pricey. IMHO, get a 1.6 Diesel from a VW Fox (super ass cheap), get the adapter and turbo the non-turbo block. Much cheaper and you only need like 2 wires to get the thing going. Thats what im gonna do anyways.

Ive got a 1.6 td in the sidekick right now. It has tons of power and its sitting stock. I would love to see what it would do in a sami. As for cost just stick with a 1.6 of any sort td or na. The 1.9 td is harder to find and the tdi is a whole diffrent adventure.
