Sounds like a good deal to me, seen lots of 4.0 litre engines with tons o miles. I want more for mine with less stuff. Good luck![cheers]

the 4.0L does not go through bottom ends unless severly abused with no maintenence they are very solid motors and I have seen many with over 300,000 - 400,000 kms on them one of the things they are known for is piston knock right out of the box new and is do to the bore to stroke ratio causing a little bit of piston rock.

Body on the xj twist up .... pay attention to how all 5 doors close. Otherwise sounds like a good deal.

well evan the blue, read more carfully:D theres only 2 doors. and seems like a good price to me the 4 L is deffenetly better then the shitty 4.2 that i got, and i dont think xjs even came with a 4.2 could be wrong.
