/-your looking for yj springs not cj springs

no, cj's bolt in as they are a 2 inch leaf pack. yj's are 2.5 inches.
cjs' are the same length all around, but you willhave to re drill your perches and spring plates to get a WB that will work in the rear of your sammi without hitting the gas tank. the rears up front will level out the ride nicely

i run cj's all around on my 87 zuke, pretty easy install you have to make a cuople of brackets,to move your hole location weld them in and have longer shackels .use the front springs from a jeep . nice ride but not as nice as coils.

hmmm, well im toying with the idea of the cj springs in the rear. or swap the rears i have in front now which are kinda stiff to the back with drop links and put my flexy rears upfront.

'76 to '86 CJ springs are as follows:
Front: 2" wide, 43" long centered pin
Rear: 2.5" wide, 45" long centered pin
I have CJ fronts in the rear of my SJ410, and moved the stock rears to the front, and swapped out some CJ leafs into the pack. Works pretty good. You get a little bit of lift withe the CJ springs to if they are in decent shape.

hmmm, so the cj's are only an inch longer then stock rears. a longer shackle wouldnt solve the redrilling??? does anyone have any pictures of what the spring plates and perches should look like or is it basically measure from the old hole to the new one and then drill??

hmm or i could get those bolt on hangers from trail tough. thats almost all bolt on then wouldnt it be??? just bolt those bad boys on, throw in the cj's and bolt them up then stick the axle back on??? anyone know you make sa kit for the rears upfront thats maybe bolt on, since i have no access to a welder.

i'm not kidding. i have a set of sammi rears beefed with scout secondaries, and i put a 6 inch long shackle, hole spacing of about 5 inches maybe 5.75. sits nicely.

hmmm ill have to try that, except today i found out that i may have to get rid of the zuki[1b] [j] cause im going to have to haul around tools and do long distance drives.
