So Monkey and I showed up to Stave Lake on Sunday and took in an amazing site. For as quiet over all as it was, it was spectacular, the open stretches of untouched land. Since I really did not know anyone in Church to closely and we were in an adventuring mood, after a quick attendance for points we went down the stretch, took some pics back toward camp, then got lost in the mountains for a good 11kms. Having a stock Ford Explo(d)rer we took a few creeks, but mostly just enjoyed the scenary of Gods greatest gift to trucks... British Columbia. Enjoy our goofy nature (something in the Whistler air) ~Logan

Yeah "Monkey" was having a blast, but that is just a friend of mine. My Fiancee is back in Ontario. Just to clarify that before she checks that out and kicks my ass. ;)

You will see Laura(my fiancee) joining us in the late summer once I have a new ride on the road.

*N E W S F L A S H*

Well she is alright, so I can joke about it now. Just got off the phone with "Monkey" and only 10 minutes from home back in Whistler she hit an ice patch and the "Exploder" did just that. She hit a median it sounds like and three corners of the vehicle are damaged and preliminary looks show that it will be a write off. So needless to say until I can get my CRX on 44"'s, Monkey and I will be unable to attend church. Stay tuned for reports on if the Explorer is written off, and if so what the next "truck" is, but she is looking for a 4Runner, and like I said main thing is... she is okay.

P.s. good thing I got lots of pics of the truck today ;)

03-10-2006, 06:54 PM
now ur thinkin...

03-10-2006, 07:50 PM
So I decided today, I am selling the CRX, I am selling my 2003 Yamaha YZFR-6R, and I am getting the money I deserve for my truck (as soon as Dean can help) *cough*hint*cough* and I am buying a truck.

I SOOOO want another Toyota, and yet yesterday someone rolled in with a 1998 Dodge V8 smallblock 318 Magnum. 3"lift, on 3" chasis, shift kit, rhino bed, mod bumper, fogs, rear light, tow kit and all.. for about 11G with only 140Gkms on it.

So what do you guys think, join the monkey and get an SR5 to match her 4Runner, or go Dodge, full loaded and already built by my best friends work mate.

Btw, Dean I like your Avatar... means my Fiancee is safe. ;)

03-10-2006, 08:09 PM
Stay Toyota.

Build up a 1st gen 4runner with the remavable top[36][36][36]
