hmm so i have done some searches and all i find are power steering for the 1.3. anyone know who makes a setup for the 1.6??? also does anyone know the length of the rear springs, i measured but keep getting different sizes cause i got no one to hold the end of the tape for me haha. thanks[cheers]

the 1.6 trackicks came with factory power steering as an option. good unit upto 33's IMO after that Id upgrade to a toy IFS box. the kick pumps will start springing leaks. the kick pump is sufficient and a reliable unit, and there is a simple upgrade to get more out of it but a better upgrade would be a saginaw pump.

my new setup will be a kick pump, toy IFS box turning 36" swampers. from what I've heard all should be good.

Just put pwr strg in my sami, used box, pump and reservoir from 92 tracker.
Made an adapter plate for box to frame and another plate to raise the pump.
Longer hoses to reservoir and had to add a u-joint to strg. shaft.
Bit of a hassle, prolly easier to buy a kit for the same components, sure works

I used Toy IFS box, and a GM pump with Toy Resevoir. Custom made all the brackets and use the same stock fan belt (got spare if need be :D )

Rear Samurai springs are 42" long[cheers]
