Not to bad of a setup, not big enough for th ecoast but perfect for the interior. How bad is the rust? Is it carbed or efi. Is this your fist sami? Might want to look into a set of tcase gears but then you might want bigger tires to make up for it. Suzukis the only way to go, ive got 4.

Enjoy the new ride.

If you can use a drill you can install the kit. I have a copy of an instal done in one of the magazines that I could copy and email you if you want. I personally like revolvers in the front and build a set of buggy leafs in the rear.

revolvers in the front?

kamloopsyota
03-01-2006, 01:06 AM
actually she came from richmond and he wheeled it all voer there and whipsaw and others. rust in the front fenders, driver side the lip that holds the flare on has half rusted off but the guy gave me three new fenders so its just the case of getting off my ass and doing that haha, its fuel injected as well. i was going to put on 33's but i dunno how much stress those little axles can take so i stuck with 32's for now. and yeah haha first sami, still getting used to touching the leg of the person next to you when shifting haha. but the shortwheelbase is awesome, its got rear leafs at all four corners but i want more flex. what are those revolvers like for DD?? open up when braking quickly??

The breeze droplinks are fine in the front. I run them front and rear and mines a dd as well. Never opened up on the street.

Loose the body lift on there and you're good to go :)

Body lift req'd to clear 1.6
Sure easier to clean mud off too[36]

Hi there, I'm from Kamloops as well. I have'nt seen your rig around yet. I just picked up an '85 SJ413K, a samurai pickup. I'll be ordering a breeze cross over setup for it, spoa with '88 diffs, 4.62 gears rear lock rite, baby lobster case, and 31's. The truck is in really good shape, I got really lucky finding it.

nice ride, I would sugest getting some birf rings for ur axels eventually, I used to have a sami, couple years back. as for drop links, I had them on all four cornors, worked great on and off road.

If you get the drop links in the rear make something to lock them closed so that they dont open up when you hit the brakes on the street. Its not fun.

Wait on the burfield rings. If you find you start breaking shafts you might want to look at getting some shafts from trail tough or another company. You might even start on the route most do and go yota axles.

As for flex stock spring with revolves will do a decent job. Remember short springs like a sami are not going to flex much. longer spring will flex more but I think you will like a set of revolvers more than longer springs.

I will scan that artical for you guys as soon as i can and email it to you.

Definately makes clean up easier. There are other ways to clear a 1.6 and still keep your center of gravity down though. every little bit helps to keep these things on all 4's
