okay, so first are lift blocks under your leafs legal? Is fender trimming legal? Are body lifts legal? If your truck wanders at highway speed will it pass a safety? if not how do i fix it? How big can trucks be and still be street legal? I'm trying to finish my 77 blazer and am worried that i will get a safety as soon as i drive it home. I have a 6" lift with rear blocks and a 3" body lift and 35" tires and the trucks not to beat up but alot of the panels are new so its a few different colors. Any advise would help, Thanx

the main reason for my worry is my buddy Larry's truck looks alot better than mine and its 15 years newer and about the same size and he just got a safety right after putting tons of money into his truck and i don't want to spend to much on mine and not be able to drive it. Thanx again

remember that joshes truck is a heat score as is it may be newer and better looking but the tires hang out to far easy spot for the cops to pick on..........................u can fender trim all u want as long as u but fender flares on to cover tires........[cheers]

thanks for the info guys.... and hopefully i will get some huge boggers soon but for now my 35s will have to do. They aren't too bad. Plus the truck doesn't even run yet so i have a month or two.lol Hopefully i can have it ready for May long at Postil though, otherwise i might have to walk my sorry ass up there! This is gonna be my first year going so hopefully i can have it ready to break[36]
