02-21-2006, 01:07 PM
It's Dave's car, my boyfriend. He's computer illiterate thatís why Iím posting it for him. [27]

He actually had a 2 dr Malibu as a daily drive but just sold it yesterday.

There was fender flares on all four fenders but the first time he flexed it just a little bit, the front tire crunched one of them. So he took the front ones off. The diff needs to be moved forward a bit.

02-21-2006, 05:17 PM
Wow looks / Sounds good. Just keep the open headers [36]

And... he doesn't have to be computer literate, he just needs to know how to build those things LOL

Edit: Where was he testing that anyways?

02-22-2006, 10:19 AM
that malibu will kick your ass

02-23-2006, 08:11 AM
Sorry my computer was down yesterday.

Atucally he just built the car through out 2005, in 2004 it was his 2 wheel drive daily driver. That mud pit is in our backyard![36] We're just in Langley right on the Langley/ Aldergrove border.

He's got a 350 small block in it, 400 turbo trani, and I think his tires are really bald 38" Super Swampers. The malibu is on top of a Blazer frame, so he had to bulid custom mounts and even modify the body to make it fit around the frame nicley. And he's going to put a locker in the rear.

monstercar: We were up at Stave for the KOTP and he saw your car goin, that's what made get the car done faster! I think he even came over and talked to you a bit. I'll defiantly let yea know when its ready to go.

02-23-2006, 09:21 PM
he could of just bought the car off me

02-23-2006, 09:33 PM
nice car...[f] haha what kinda milage you get out of thaty?

02-23-2006, 11:12 PM

02-24-2006, 12:13 PM
Hmmm, milage? Don't kow yet, but he plans to make it street legal so we'll find out soon enough!

I think he should do the exhaust straight out the hood, you can buy those shorty headers that you see on demolition derby cars. But then it won't be street legal.

02-24-2006, 12:30 PM
sweet car that almost looks like chevota's back yard on 200th in lang

02-24-2006, 04:51 PM
nice TAR, not a truck, not a car[stoned]

02-24-2006, 06:12 PM
cool [stoned] :D

02-24-2006, 06:22 PM
good luck with making it street legal by the time u make your bumpers the legal height of what a car is allowed to be and mud flaps it looks so fucken stupid your not going to want to drive it anywere i had mine on road for 3 months and 3 days into the insurance i got mvi and no shop wanted to put there licence on the line to pass it it was fucken awsome driving down south fraser way in abbotsford and around for those 3 days

02-25-2006, 08:44 AM
My buddy wanted to put my 67 spitfire body on my bronco frame but that just seemed like killing to perfictly good vehicles in one shot to me...
Gues my neck just aint red enough...lol...

02-25-2006, 08:46 AM
Oh and that is one sweet back yard!!! Got to get me one like that...

02-25-2006, 11:49 AM
I want that back yard!

02-25-2006, 06:54 PM
monstercar: Wouldn't they go by truck regulations because its on a truck frame? The only thing car about it is the body. We're going to make removable mud flaps and its already got nice big fender flares on it. And who needs bumpers anyways! [cheers]

All the the trails and mud pits are Chevy built! Good old fashion bush plowin! We've had everything from a Jeep, Ford and Toyota get stuck in there only my Chevy and the Car/truck have made it..........so far!

02-26-2006, 07:10 PM
no they go by car regulations good luck bumpers are very important dont get pulled over

02-26-2006, 09:35 PM
thats some nice shots of monstercar. [36]

02-27-2006, 12:20 PM
Nice pictures!

It's going to have bumpers, I'm just kidding around, he just needs to mount the front one. He's using the original malibu bumpers. When it was a car just before it was taken off the road to be built into a 4x4 he was pulled over and got a VI, so no matter what, he has to get it inspected before it can be driven on the road. Oh well if he can't get it to pass he can do my idea with the exhaust coming straight out the hood! [cheers]

03-28-2006, 11:33 PM
thats gotta be the craziest looking malibu ive ever seen lol

03-28-2006, 11:36 PM
