i have a 1995 jeep yj with the 4cyl i want to put 35s on it but i would still like to be able to be able to reach 100kms im new to 4x4ing and if i geared it would my top speed be pretty much gone or should i sell it and get a 4L?

probly sell it and get a 4L. but still then you would have to re-gear for 35's, probly 4.10 would work good, if you keep the 4cyl go 4.88 gears. my jeep is a 91 4cyl with 4.10 and 33's.. needs to be re-geared as 100km is the max on the highway right now

bigger tires means bigger power plant then better gears then bigger sound system to drown the noise of the tires its a money pit welcome to 4x4ing you'll like [15] [cheers]

Ya, i have a 90 YJ with a 4 cyc, dont get big tires! i have 33's and it is the gayest thing u can imagine... people finger u when ur leaving intersections. hahaha, but ive got a brand new chevy 383 being built as we speek!

i think im going to get a 97 tj with the 4L and the new suspension hopefully going to bigger and better things
