OK, here's what I've got planned based on 3 months of research and various drunk arguments with other jeep owners.. [27]

LIFT: 4.5 Rubicon extreme duty
TIRES: TrXuS M/T 33X12.5 50R15
Engine rebuild: new cam, Borla Header/cat back combo (stainless) and mabye convert to injection.
Have access to a welder now so gonna try and fab my own bumpers.
Locker front, posi rear.
Now that I have a shop, I can begin building her!!

This is based on opinions and ideas, I'm not closed minded and willing to listen to suggestions. The rear posi and front locker is a friends idea, he said that most of the weights in the front, as his bud used to build monster 4x4's. I'm tryin to build a 4x4 that I can play hard in, and still make highway driving not such a pain in the ass. Based on my lack of personal knowledge, I decided to hook up with chwk4x4, and funinbc so I could learn, and build. I don't just want to have it all installed, I wanna do it myself, and anyhelp, ideas along the way are goin to be greatly appreciated.

[cheers] Jim, looking forward to the learning curve, lmao!!

see if you can find a ford 8.8 axle or something stronger than the d35 that is probly in there. a cherokee 8.25 or d44 are also great options. if you want to go hardcore put in d60's. the d35 probably won't last too long with a posi or locker. if you do keep the d35 a super 35 kit would be a good investment

don't waste any money on the stock diffs in that yj they are weak cheapest upgrades for diffs are ford exploder 8.8 (they are almost the same width as the yj and slightly stronger than the dana 44) for the rear and for the frt use the dana 44 out of the 1980 to 1991 fullsize 4 DOOR Wagoneers, 4 DOOR only, is the same width as the yj. The only problem with this combo is the 8.8 is 5 bolt on 4.5 in dia wheel patern (same as yj) the d44 is 6 bolt on 5.5 in dia, d44 frts you will find only 5 on 5.5 , 6 on 5.5 , or 8 on 6.5, but you can get after market axles for the 8.8 with whatever bolt pattern you want.
