after my car accident dexter and i put a wide track axle with disc brackes in my truck, sometimes when i hit the brakes its fine but most of the time the brake pedal pulsates badly, i'd normaly say its a warped rotor but it's intermittant, anyone got any ideas on what it might be

are they new calipers? maybe a bad piston?

ya, put new calipers on it, and the rotors and bearings only have about 4000km's on them

you can still have a warped rotor...sometimes if you hit your brakes just right you will skip the pulsatig and it will be smooth..or maybe the rear isn't engaging every time your on the brakes..maybe because of where your propotioning valve is running and it's engaging the brakes more or less???

still using all of the stock brake system and the bar for the prop valve is tied u, the rear tires almost lock up in the rain when i slam on them, should i try another prop vavle and change the rotors? ihave spare rotors but i didn't want to have to take the bearings off to change them

if the shaking is in your steering wheel chances are its your front rotors if it's in your brake petal chances are its the rear doin the pulsing..I wouldnt worry about your propotioning valve but i would change your rotors if you have spares...maybe spend the $20 to get them turned first so you know for sure
