what is the max lift i can get (Safley) with longer shackles, 85 toyota truck

front or rear? or both?
front will fuck up your allignment caster etc if you do too much. 6-7" shackle is abotu all you want in the front. I'm not sure how long stock is, but I'd imagine that would give you about 1-2" lift..
not much limit on the back if you build the shackle right, but personally I've never liked huge shackles

both, front and rear, stock- center to center is 3.5''

I'm running 6.5" shakle in the front with a hybrid rear pack. Seems to work well.
in the back I've got revolvers, so I can't comment on any first hand experience with long shackels there.

i would go about 2'' higher than it is, but i need drop draglink and longer brake lines, anybody got?
right now its got 3'' lift spring in front and add-a-leaf in rear

you'd be better off with a 1" drop hanger in the front and not so huge of a shackle. Altho 2" lift would only be 7.5" I guess

ya the shackle would'nt be really long, but do you get any axel wrap with long shackles

I'm not sure. i've never run any real long ones before.
I always understood axle wrap is more to do with long soft leaves, but I could be wrong
