ok..need some input here....

andys's got a 208c in his truck at the moment behid his th400 and his done out big block...

he had 35's on it and the 208 held up fine. Now we've just one ton'd it and its going on 44's...

I cannot find a 205 off of a th400 for the life of me. Theres one on bc4xgay in a truck but hes not sure if he wants to part the truck out.

I dont think that the 208 will hold up to the torque and the 44's..

any idea's???

actually the 208 will handle alot of stress and strain from big tires and engines as long as it doesnt get smashed by rocks or run low on oil . keep looking for a replacement but dont be afraid to run it with the 208 . It not like its behind a 465 or a 435

i found they don't like a lot of high revs in low gear[2]
actually you might be able to buy a case off another tranny and buy a input shaft from ord http://www.offroaddesign.com/transfercaseparts.htm then all you need is the crossover plate that might be easier to find[36]
