Got to photobucket.com and down load your pics there....then you can resize them on their site and then post them here....

01-15-2006, 10:12 PM
Hey Mudslut,
How much lift you put into that thing to clear the 38's? I got 3-4" right now and am gonna go with another 4" in a custom shackle drop so I can run some 35's I wanna get next month.

01-15-2006, 11:02 PM
To fit 38's comfortably without any rubbing and no cutting of the fenders while flexing I needed 10" of lift. Now most likely if you get 8" of lift you will probably clear 38's with some minor cutting of the fenders. With the 46" tires I am running right now I needed to put the truck up 13" and take about 4" of fender off without any rubbing. Have you got someone to fab up your extended shackles and hangers? Let me know if ya dont cause a good friend of mine fabs em up for a pretty good price too. I've got em on my rig.

01-16-2006, 03:50 PM

I don't have any good pics of my dads '04 crew cab dually 4x4, but it is sweet. Better mileage & way more power than my (now gone ) '95 Power Stroke. He drives the shit out of this thing, & has tons of tree scratchs & rock chips from hunting, all at $1200.00 a month payment (before insurance & fuel). The way he figures is he won't live long enough to have to pay it out.lol

01-19-2006, 09:55 PM
Mud Ram that is a killer dodge the 44's make those hubs look like there not even there did u build the four link yourself? and just wonderin how big the winch is that u slide into the receiver for gettin unstuck

Thats we i got, got it port and polished, headers, chipped... gonna get custom exhaust put out before the rear tires and we found a paxton super charger for it... should have around 600hp. its a "farm" truck, so it doesnt have to go through air care... you know what that means, no cats! we also have a 95 viper, been sent down to henessey in texas, 620hp. soo sick, just a peice of shit, they both are. hahahaha

sweet rig, finally another big dodge.......spill!!!!.....what kinda goodies??

03-13-2006, 06:47 PM
Not as nice as yours, I do know that!!!! Your rig is sweet, i'd like to check out your coil spring setup one of these days soon. I seen a picture of that, and I did a double take when I seen those coils!!!

85 Dodge s/b 360/435/208 46" Baja Claws, 8 inch skyjacker softrides all around, 4 inch hanger and shackle lengthen front, 10 inch shackle flip, lengthen and drop in the back (blocks removed for a net of 6), 3 inch body, 15 inch travel Rancho RS5000's, dana 60's front and rear, hydro assist crossover, custom steering shaft linkage, ubolt flip, ubolt plates from a 1 ton chev, and home made bumpers.

Stuff to do: Install the 5.57's, needs driveshafts and R&P carriers. I'd like to go with OX lockers. Can anyone hook me up with a BC supplier? Also need to install my rear disc brakes. I bought the caddy calipers with the ebrake setup already. Need the brackets.

Oh yeah, and my favourite. I purchased a NV4500 and a 205. Should be a direct bolt in. That's my next project before anything else. I'd like to also double the t cases as I have a couple of 203's collecting dust.

The 360 has J heads with 2.02's and 1.60's, 9.0 flat top pistons, open Heddman Hedders, Mopar Dual Plane intake, Holley 670 Truck Avenger, MP purple shaft cam with a .430/.450 lift, Holley red fuel pump, and a high volume jobber oil pump. Dynapac 12 inch clutch setup.

I was driving it around the farm for two months before I blew out the rear driveshaft doing donuts on Christmas day.

03-15-2006, 07:18 PM
well got some new pics of the hellion till the cam died.. all new shiny interior and out side hippoliner...

Has a rebuit with 50-60k km, and wired front and back for a winch, has a reciever in the middle of the box for pullin as well. Gotta get a winch tho. B&M shifter, 3" body lift, smithy bilt front and custom bar in the back. 33"General Grabbers till I can get better.....I have some work to do but it'll get there one day. [36]

d50, is it a dakota or? nice shifter

It's a D50, Power Ram 50, whatever you wanna call it. It's a Mits. They were imported and sold as Dodges in North America, as Mistubishis in the rest of the world. They were the pre-courser to the Dakota. [36]

12-29-2006, 11:46 AM
I don't have this one anymore, but it made plenty of appearances at Stave. I kind of miss it, but it was a complete piece of shit too. I put a lot of money into it, which I regret now...it got VI'd, and that was the end for it.

1980 Power Ram, 318 auto, 35's. Had open headers for a while, and it sounded awesome.

12-29-2006, 12:55 PM
Heres a few pics of my ramcharger yesterday.

Its an 85, 318, 4 speed, just put some 35's and trimmed the fenders to make em fit, needs a bit of lift to keep em from rubbing while offroad though. Has a comfy seat from a 98 ram in it [36]

12-29-2006, 08:20 PM
Hey man, put a suspension lift in that thing. Trust me. Mine was the exact same deal, a bit of trimming to fit...I got hung up in almost every rut. Check out the 2nd and 3rd pics for a prime example. And that's a bad thing with no skidplates. A suspension lift will get your driveline in the air, and that's a good thing.

12-29-2006, 10:38 PM
Yeah thats the plan for spring, to cold here and I dont have a shop.

12-29-2006, 10:56 PM
Yeah I hear ya man.

By the way, I had a few mods done to my 318, if yours is still stock a few of them might be worth looking at. I put a Comp Cams XE256 in, converted to 4bbl with a factory intake (would have gone aftermarket but the intake was damn near free) and a Holley 600, installed an FBO ignition (this one especially is awesome, best box you can buy for Dodges and the kit comes with cap, rotor, and ballast resistor), headers, electric fan, and some other crap I can't remember at the moment. I also played with the distributor myself, monkeying with the centrifugal advance, but that doesn't really count. Great combo, if the engine is still in decent shape. The cam was great, had a bit of a lope when it was cold but it worked beautifully. Lots of lowend, and power brakes were no problem. Good little cam.

12-31-2006, 10:28 AM
Thanks, this ones got about 40,000 km on a rebuild, but going to be rebuilding the 318 in my shortbox. A friend has a set of .030 over flattop pistons, and done up 360 heads hes gonna give me, should go good with the cam, and I have an older MSD distributor, and an edelbrock offroad performer series 4 barrel carb, just need the intake, cam.

I cant wait to get going on that, and drive it when its done :)

Bodys a bit rough on the ramcharger only bought it for the motor, but then liked the shorter wheelbase, so now fixing them both up.

Shes gotta be reliable, going to be my daily driver. Almost done the 440, just getting the crank machined for a 4-speed right now. Going for propane too with dual mixers [36] I can only hope she will be all done before may long :(

Dodge4x4, nice collection of dodges.

Simular to mine [cheers]

What drivetrain does the old Mocho have in it?

05-24-2007, 11:21 PM
thank you! haha i own too many dodges i think i have a problem.

right now the mocho's got no engines, bought it like that for 700 bucks. we're swapping the 440 auto from the ramcharger into this weekend. but it's got a 727 trani w/t shift kit (may or may not work, we don't know yet), full time 4wd, 3:21 front and 3:23 rear gears

05-24-2007, 11:28 PM
No problem at all, can never have too many dodges. I have 4 now myself.

I like manual trannies personally, but the 440 should have the power for the auto.

05-24-2007, 11:30 PM
nice, what do you have?
the rams a manual, 318 that we're doing out to 390 stroker.
but i live in richmond so i prefer autos if you know what i mean :P

05-24-2007, 11:38 PM
I just got the 01 pics above your, its a 318 with a 5 speed.

Have an 85 ramcharger with 318 and 4 speed manual, trimmed the fenders to fit 35" bfg muds with no lift. Has a power bench seat from a 98 ram.

85 shortbox reg cab, 1" lift and bald 33's, 318 4 speed manual but timing jumped in the motor.

Also have a 79 clubcab longbox with a 360 and auto that I just use for parts.

Then a pair of fords from the 70's and a jeep charokee.

Not sure what ya mean, I like a stick for any driving, but Ive never been to the coast so wouldnt know about that :P Im a country boy

05-25-2007, 12:18 AM
oh richmond is full of asians that cant drive. so it's constantly stop/go/stop/go and i hate driving standard in that.
haha oh man, we should start a dodge family together

06-07-2007, 11:44 PM
I'm lookin at a 1992 Dakota tomorrow on propane, I'll probably buy it. Needs a little work, but the price is right. Its not a 4x4, but I'll post pictures when I got it.

My 4x4 will probably be another Mazda... damnit I just like these little trucks... (or a zuki)

06-12-2007, 06:46 PM
The good truck is my work truck, not much to it. 3/4ton 5.9 magnum, auto tranny, 2" leveling kit, procomp shocks, intake and 35" BFG A/T's on eagle alloys.

The black truck is my weekend toy/beater. Not enough done to it but it is a constant work in progress. 360 .030 over, 4-speed w/bull low 1st, 1" t-case drop, rear shackle flip, rear u-bolt flip, removed rear the block, welded dana 60 rear, dana 44hd up front, homebuilt booger bumper with warn 8274, 16.5" steel wagon wheels with 37" super swamper ssr's and 2 37" michelin spares etc... just little things.

I am guessing about 2" of lift over stock with some brutal fender trimming:D

thats awsome and a sweet deal thats what im gona look for an old truck like that but i f i found a crewcab i think i rather have it anyways lol

06-25-2007, 08:52 PM
Hell of a score. I would have bought it too.

06-25-2007, 08:53 PM
Take the crewcab and put in on a swb frame and tube a little bed big enough for a spare tire etc...

06-26-2007, 08:14 AM
It wouldnt fit on a SWB without chopping up the cab, but would fit nicely on a reg cab longbox frame, but thats a lotta work for a few inches of wheelbase.

Id leave it as is, its a tank, and can plow through any obstical, doesnt need to be able to turn.

Dont Dodge it, RAM it [36]

06-26-2007, 10:18 AM
Damn rights, I'm gonna leave it as is for at least a while. Maybe throw a flatdeck on it for a while though...

first I gotta get some minor work done, then I'll get some offroad pics....
