I for one would rather have someone not skilled or comfortable doing such work, ask for help. :D

Is it that you dont have the room?
I hear beer tech days go over well :p

if you were putting a body lift in then i could see that you would want a hoist, but you can definetly get everythiung done without a hoist, it just makes it about 200 X easier.

I don't see how a hoist would make a body lift go any easier:confused:

Come on Aaron your smarter than that a hoist ya just use it to suport the whole body at once it sure makes it way easy on a hoist been there done that

I was thinking of the kind of hoist with ramps you drive onto which wouldn't help. But ya, I guess it could be a bit easier with the kind of host with 4 adjustable arms. But doing one side at a time with a bottle jack and block of wood works just fine too

I would love to have a hoist for my car though. Fawking thing is so low I cant even drive up my little ramps cause the front clip is too low, and my floor jack just barely gos low enough to slip it underneath....

sure having a four point lift or two point lift is nice it makes for beer / work time.

i've helped when there is now lift or hoists around to put in a body lift or
susp. lift.

not having a lift i also found the girl friends don't come around as much
they just leave us alone [cheers]

ya, thats what ive been doing. or use the 2x4 to ramp up to the ramp[c]

its a fawkin pain in the ass though.

Time to lift it :D Maybe throw a toy axle in the back, weld 'er up and throw some mini boggers on[36][36]

I have a shop with a hoist by the Albion ferry Maple ridge side and do most 4x4 repairs and fabbing.
