as long as the bolt pattern and inputshaft from tranny cooperate

u should have no big issues not sure of the length difference.

Does Jen Know?

maybe the guy with the blazer changed tranny as well? That's the most likely. Presuming the S10 has a 4.3, then the bellhousing bolt pattern is the same as any small block chev....so swapping to another tranny and t-case is not so tough....physically, anyway. Not sure how you would need to address the electronics though...the computer controls shifts points, so swapping-in a TH350 might confuse the computer...dunno

i think he has a turbo 350 in there, not sure i will ask him. the toy axles are good for the s10, you get to run a solid axle with out the whole tire sticking out.

I believe the rear bolt pattern on a 700r4 is the same as a th350, and to swap a 205 behind a 700r4 you need a special outpute shaft that is about $300.I don't know if the 4l60e is the same however.

i have a 327, 700r, 208. all bolted up. to run a 205 you have to swap the output shaft. as for the axles they fit nice under the truck , have plans for some longfields in the near future depening if i ever get the thing fully functioning. only 42 miles since its been mostly done. to busy fixing redneck welding.hahaha. come to think of it you coming over pete.

check the spline counton the input of your 205. Most 205's were on standards and have a corse spline. You might want to look at purchasing an adapter kit for this application.

the 4L60E is just an updated electronic 700R4 so anything that fits a 700 should fit the 4L60E
