I've got the 56" F150's (can't remember what years they're out of though)

They flex awesome. Enough to max out my 12" travel shock both up and down. I've got Revolver shackles though, so a lot of extra drop comes from them. But I'm still very pleased with how the F150's work. I'd definitely recomand them as a junkyard spring.

would the 63" not flex more being a longer spring?

ive recently done the chev spring on my 87 runner with the dual shakle setup and am very pleased with the flex offroad havent fully mesured it but the drop is amazing! plus the ride on road is so much better then stock . if you do the chevs ya may want to remove a leaf from the pack to get more flex.. I left the overload leaf in to help axle wrap and to help stop over flexing since i have not made new bump stops yet

what ever route you go i would suggest flipping your U bolts.. get rid of that stupid plate below the axle

either or are good, I'm putting F150's in my truck but I'm also doing the 3/4 eliptical. F150's will do the job for ya, the only thing I would suggest to help you decide would be which ones will be easier to get.

'83 flatdeck toy. F-150 rear buggy leafs, rears up front, highsteer, drop hanger, square front driveshaft, a 7MGE, hook up the snorkel and then the tube bending begins.

Now all I gotta do is put it all together.

I'm not sure what the spring rates are on them though. Personally I like the idea of more smaller leafs rather than just a coupld big ones like the chevies. The shorter length is also nice because your spring hangers are less of a rock anchor.

Either way they both work great. Run whatever ones you can pick up from a friend or something for free/cheap etc

if i end up going with the ranger set up, how far forward would i move the hanger, or would i move it at all.. also, are the ranger leafs the same width as the stock rears?

heres a picture of a STOCK bronco 2 leaf pack flexing, i still wish i had left the stockers in there, but i wouldnt have the lift that i do now.

the bronco 2 packs are 57" long(forget where the centerpin is located) and they are 2.5" wide.
