From August til Christmas I have been looking for the right drive shaft for my truck. On Christmas I got it...I got 2, front and rear. Yesterday my transmission, driveshafts and gear shifter was put in .... supposed to be so exited but the truck wont move.

It runs perfect but wont move.

Im dissapointed, pissed off and I want to give up.... (but I wont [V])

Ok...now u all can make fun of me...Im expecting the following:
[1]
Fords suck / Thats why I drive a chev / Told you so / What did u expect and whatever else post here:

it might be going into gear at the tranny but be in neutral at the tcase.

did it grind at all going into gear?
did he check for ALL gears?

I still think he needs to go over and redo the linkage.

i had a truck that did the same thing. so you have a body lift in it?? my linkage was screwed up when i put the body lift in. go under the truck disconnet the linkage to the tcase and push it all the way and see if the truck moves at least this way it will grab a gear.you will have to ajust it to get all the gears after. i bet its the linkage is out a few treads.

did u see the transmission working before u put it in. i have c6 in one of my trucks and it would run fine but only rev up. it turned out that the band that goes around the clutches inside was too loose and it was slipping, and all i had to do was tighten the band, an easy fix if done before the the disks fall out. could be a possibility. who's working on it with you? anyone I know?
