IFS Blows[48]. You have no ground clearance, you can lift all you want but the center aint goin nowhere[fire][fire]

an a solid axle is any different how???

Only think giving you more ground clearance for a solid axle is bigger tires. IFS you can modify the A-arms with certain kits to not drop the pumkin as much and get more ground clearnace.

That said, It Fuckin Sucks, but your argument isn't valid.

Not all IFS is shit I don't wheel my truck like crazy I have IFS a 3.5 inch coil lift I am able to go pretty good with my IFS. I am aware it is not nearly as strong as a solid axel but I guess it depends on the kind of driving ya do.

[stupid]

I wheeled the shit outta my old IFS 4runner for 4 years. I followed a lot of more well built SFA rigs around where no one thought I would make it. Its all about driver skill, It just took being more careful to choose the right line and a lot of hammer down[36][36]

good thing cause I hear the once you go 35 and bigger it actually makes the IFS stronger, except if its a chevy

ifs is NOT garbage, you just gotta know how to build them. we got a couple of the cruisers at postil with 44's, one even competed in TTC and won a few years ago.

only catch is it is a custom done with gamagoat centers. they are rediculous.

Those are some sweet cruizers. I would love to see them up close or some build up pics. The IFS on those things is nuts

All the Baja Trophy trucks run IFS ... built right and for the right application IFS can out perform SFA. Depends on what you want to do and how much time/cash you got. [5]

If you haven't seen it yet, go rent "From Dust to Glory" thats what IFS is about [36]

Imagination is more important that knowledge

buy whichever, wheel it until it breaks and upgrade. If you have a choice, solid hands down. Simpler, so it's easier to work on, can fab some custom stuff yourself, most parts available, and lets face it, having to not worry about something breaking is a little less to worry about when given'r and having fun.

I'm gonna try and find it local to buy first to support the independant film makers producing a kickass movie like that. But if I can't find it I'll definitely take ya up on that offer. Did you burn all the extras and behind the scenes stuff too?
