I've seen a lot of people mount them up high in the wheel well. Seems to work pretty good.

There's a couple really good threads with pics/video and what kind of lights they used on pirate4x4's toyota forum . Just do a search there for 'rock lights'

how many lights do you have on yours? and where? (other than the front wheel wells)

I want to put some on mine soon too. I'll have to check yours out one night and see how they work[36]

When I was up in Prince George last year I saw a few trucks that had white tube/strip neon style lights mounted all along the frame as rock lights..

I prefer to think of us as a Drinking Club with 4x4 problems !!

Ya I saw those ones too. But all they had left were the crappy yellow lenses by the time I got there.

Flourecent's work decent, but LEDs I think are the best because of their low amp draw and they're pretty much indestructible, no lenses or housings to crack etc.

4-6 H3's at 55watts each is 2-300W ontop of you headlights, stereo etc. Thats a lot of draw on your system especically since you're often just barely idling while crawling.
