I have a 90 GMC Jimmy. I have swapped the rear to a corp 14 bolt w/4.10's, and now going to swap the front to a 8 bolt but not sure which way to go, corp 10, dana 44, dana 60. I dont wheel that much and dont think I would need to run a dana 60 (such high cost). I just want to know what anyone thinks I should go with.

I've heard that if i'm not gonna go with a 60 that I should go with 10 over the 44 only cause they are newer and alot more parts readily available (for when I break it) and that the 10 has better ground clearance and the axle shafts are larger than the 44 is this true?
