well, we got our first snowfall last week and the club was jonesin' to explore a new trail that was only known and accesible to ATV's.

since hunting season is now officially over we got our first taste of snow wheeling into an unknown trail. enjoy!

for those interested, craig lake is one of the highest elevation lakes in ontario, perched up on top of a mountain (pfft, nothing compared to the BC mountains but nevertheless,) the lake is spring fed and the trail to the top of the lake is steep, off camber and with the slushy snow we got here, very slippery!

no I don't hunt personally, I was waiting for hunting season to finish so I don't risk getting shot while wheeling. :D

Nice pics! Did the yellow Zuk break the RR spring retainer, or do they even have any? Looks like it flexes good the way it is!:D

the yellow truck is andy's, aka. leadfoot. no top retainers, they just seem to fall back into the pockets as he flexes down. he uses chevette deisel coils with a 3 link setup in the rear.

for links he used F-150 tie rods instead of heims or JJ's and sidekick rubbers on the other end of his links. for the top link on the top of the axle he uses a sidekick balljoint end. they hold up really well and are readily available at any parts counter for cheap

I believe I remember the #'s in the 1800's on the 23deg. before he stretched the wheelbase.

the grey zuk in the middle pic scored 2000+ sitting on D44's, 39's and identical coil setups as andy's yellow zuk. the guy with the red 4dr kick in my snow pics is pete. he's the same guy that owned and built the grey zuk back in the day as well as andy's.
