im thinking about either gewtting into a comanche or a cherokee and not to sure what to look for just wondering if anyone knows what would be a ood start

Cherokees are good, try to find a 92 I think or up as they have the better cooling system already or you can convert the older ones. 4.0 inline six multi port fuel injection is sweet, HO is like around 180? horse. Lots of parts available. DO NOT get anything with the 4.2 litre in it, they are ... well...weird. [36]

I had a Comanche with the 4 cyl "Iron Duke" engine in it, sold it with over 400,000 km's on it still running good, noisy and gutless but they work sweet.

im going with an old school 74 cherokee this summer hopefully august and you can mod the engine for upto 500 ftlbs of torque without much trouble mind you thats near a total rebuild but they have a hardcore drive train hard to find one tho ive got a couple in line so far
