So how much did you open the wheelwell over stock and how much of a flare did you put into it?

opened up 2" and flared out ~2" .

Guess I can hang some rubber flap for the extra 2 inches i need to cover the rubber.

I agree that any more flare would look funny. And for the majority of 3rd gen owners 2" should be enough.


Just curious what you do about the inner fender? Could the existing one be modified easy enough to connect to the new fenders? or would you have to make soemthing custom?

factory inner fender is not utalized . it dosent fit because of the cut up and out . you would have to make your own .

There is a 4th layer of 15oz woven roving on the flare and body of the fender for added strength .
