Hello all. Today I spent my time at the Silver Lake Camp above Peachland. I know the owners, so I decided to go and visit. They are busy finishing their new lodge. The old one burnt down last year. Anyway, I left Westbank about 6:30 this morning. The road up was pretty slick. There were a few brave souls going up the road, but several were just could not get up the hills. I took a few pictures for your enjoyment. It was very peaceful up there. It was -9 degrees with 1 and a half feet of snow, and a few friends, ahhhh very relaxing.

I'm assuming close to Kelowna? Where abouts is that? Do they own the entire lake, or just that access?

it is just south of kelowna on highway 97. It is a kids camp and forestry center. They own the whole area, including the lake. They do allow people to fish in the lake, but there is a different entrance for the public.
