will a top shifting t case from an 82 toy bolt on to the back of my 84 tranny? g52 or something (5spd forward shift t casse)

yup. Some say you need to plug the hole for the old forward shift tcase, but I didn't do that one mine. Its a w56 though, not sure if that makes a difference?
on some models you will also need to grind the end of the shift forks if they stick out too far. Goto marlin's site and download the instructions for a dual case install and you will see what I mean.

why i ask is i bought a completeused set up. the t cases are from a 82 i beleive... and it was bolted to a 82 tranny. i just wanted to make sure that it will bolt up to my 84 tranny before i got half into the swap.
