oh ok, i was always told it would wreck the tire, but i never could figure out how it could?? heres a nother question, the tire splaces wont do the studs for me cause i have already ran the tires on the road, so i can still buy them and just use a hammer or something????

they wont do them now because there will be little rocks in all the stud holes so it'll wreck their machine propably, or just be a pain in the ass to put in

yeah thats what i was told by every shop is that they will redrill and stuff. but thats 40 each tire plus tax plus studs and i dont have extra cash to spend on that right now, guess ill just throw some more sand bags in the back when the snow flies haha

$40 a tire? That actually sounds pretty cheap. Years ago, when I was fixing tires, I had to stud new ones (no drilling involved)...and THAT was a tedious pain in the ass.....I couldn't imagine a shop making much money at $40 a pop.

$30 a tire is what Bob told me at OK Tire.
