whet up to p2p on Sunday with burge(rob)on the quads by the time we

got to the trail head we were already soaking wet but down we went.

Rob almost flipped on the way down very muddy and slippery

got down without any problems. It looks like there gonna log that area

its all marked for clearing. Got a bit lost on the old logging road

had to back track a few times (first time down that way). i almost

got stuck in the water hole at the end of the trail 3 feet deep of

water and muck

checked out the beach was getting cold so we headed back up.

piece of cake until last bit of the trail (steep part)

.Seen it coming so a got a run at it,10 ft up started to spin, slid

sideway and back into a big tire rut.I had to hold quad from flipping

over back-wards and backed it down the hill scared me a bit:D

2 winches, snatch block,4 straps and a lot of slipping and

falling, sweating and almost flipping me quad numerous times we made

back up. the steep part was a lot of fun:Dat one point going up the

steep bit we had both winches hooked together off a pulley on a

tree.So i tell rob its all good so he lets off brake and starts

rolling down the hill back-wards[:0] guess who forgot to lock the

clutch on my winch good thing the wire is bolted at the drum.whoops

only make that mistake once

sorry about the lack of pics but way to wet to bring the camera

and to all you guys and girls scared to get wet you should have come

had a great time

the end

Sounds like a blast! I know my Warn2000 won't hold the quad on a steep hill if it's not under power. These winches need a brake of some sorts!

I thought that would be pretty muddy down there. quess its mandatory for the quads to have a winch too.

Was an intense ride[41], It took some creative winching but we made it up[8D]. I nearly endo'd the kingquad on the way in[1b]. Was craziest muddy death trap my kingquad has ever conqured.

WHen are we goin riding again dave:D

ya i dono how fun it would have been trying to lugg around my dirtbike with a bald tire tire in the rain, 600s with bald tires are not good combinations on wet hills.
