'Backroads mapbook' by Mussio Ventures is a good one to get. http://www.backroadmapbooks.com/index1.php?series=bm They got a few versions for different areas, lower mainland, interior etc. Some good write-ups on the camp spots, lakes, and hotsprings etc in the areas. You can get them at chapters or most outdoor stores.
Also the Forestry maps are really good, but they're getting tough to get a hold of now. Anyone know if your still able to get them?

Should be able to get forestry maps still, bought a few a couple years ago at a place that sells the off road radio/phones to loggers etc. Those are good topo maps, but lack updated road detail.
I have Softmap on my PC, and update the roads whenever I'm out on my quad by saving tracks and uploading them to the database.
