My girlfriend moved to kelowna, so Im back to exploring on my own. even my little sidekick didnt want to come...

about a km up from there is the first sign of mining activity. It is here you will notice my picture taking skills are poor at best.

another couple kms up the hill theres another mine site. this one had 3 or 4 shafts but all were blocked off.

I could have SWORN there were 2 or 3 standing cabins here 3 years ago when i was at that exact spot to fight a forest fire...

Nice pics! That hole with the fencing around it looks like a vent, ie: vertical! You want to find the horizontal adits, much safer!:D

That tree in the tire is cool! The tree looks like it's over 60-70 years old!

yea that tire looked pretty old, the road it was on was all grass with no tire tracks. I had a suspicion something was nearby but couldnt find anything
