is it ok to jsut weld the radius arm to the houseing of a D44 ifs.. i broke the top mounting plate off at stave thisweekend and need to drive .. is it safe to weld it on or wut.. i wil b doin this in bout 4 hours ithink.. soo ne inpput asap will help..[cheers]

can't you weld the plate back on, and bolt the arm back up?

noo its too small to weld back up..just figured it would b easier to weld it solid... and the other thing is that i cant get the coil out b/c i dont got a 1 1/8 rench.. i gota socket but no wrench.. i also NEED matruck tonite .. the only way ima need this radius arm is if i suddenly wake up and find a grand so i can do a SAS but the chances of that r vry unlikely..

not a good idea to weld the radius arm....maybe if you are a specialist......ask the welder on the sight!

Get it off and bring it to me, and I'll make it like new. If you go to Stave falls auto wreckers and talk to Clayton and or Paul they might lend you a socket,if not I gots one you can use.

k well i got it welded up all goodr... thanks for the help ya'll..[cheers] i still needa borogh a 1 1/8 wrench from somebody to get my coils out so i can slide my 2'' spacers under... i will try clayton.. he knows me.. thanks

man ive worked on broncos that someone welded the radius arms and over time they crack...!!!!!!!!!!!!!11...keep a cose eye on thjs repair....good luck

will do.. ive takin it 4xn a couple times now to see how shes holdin up.. seems to look fine and still ride good.. thanksalot guys
