well... she goes like stink, but there is something wrong with the clutch.

everything is fine till i get it bound up hard then if i can't spin the tires, i can release my foot from the clutch and play with the gas pedal, and it doesn't move.

it was a pain in the ass, got stuck in the ditch at the shop, pulled it out, re set the clutch, figured it wasn't getting fully released, tried it again, same thing.

my specific question is guys with a 1.6 swapped in, what kinda clutch you using, did you notice anything weird aobut the feel, or gripping ability of these lil sammi clutches?

[8D]what clutch are you using?
I would think a stock one would have a hard
time with those 35x14.50's.
I put a centreforce 1 in mine and it works great,
was only about $30.00 more than a Dynapak cept you
don't get a pilot bush or t/o brg(another $30.00)
With that size tire you may want to go with a
centreforce 2,few more bucks though.

By the way,did you use the 1.3 or 1.6 starter?

[cheers]

1.6 starter.

they don't make a std centerforce 2, just a dual friction unit. (bling!)

[8D]centreforce 1
Lordco part # cf009512
This is a standard unit with counterweights.
Faster it spins, the better it grabs.:D

lookin for a dual friction, this engine is a lil wild for that itty bitty clutch.
