Sure it was suspension not body lift? Of did it include a huge t-case drop?
Body lifts or t-case drops cause the shifter to hit the edges of the body opening. Some times monkeying with the shofter boot gives enought room, some times you have to extend or bend the shifter handle.

Is the shifter hitting???

It's like Chris was saying..... It sounds like either the T-case moved or the body went up....Either way... just "MASSAGE" the shifter.

If it was a susp lift... somethings not right... go back and tripple check every thing!!

when i put a 2" boody lift on my old YJ it wouldnt shift into 4-LO...just had to take the shifter boot off and adjust a nut and bolt and that was it...take the boot off the shifter and move it around and take a closer look
