debra and I figure we would take the kids out to the sand pit at stave for a few hours of riding the bike by themselves and they do a great job... my boy really does a GREAT job and he did a better job then me when I first started to ride. see the pics. he had 2 wipe outs but by the time we were ready to head out I could not keep him out of the mud.

pics below show his first take off and his first wipe out.

he's going

but like I said after he had some practice we could not get him out of the mud puddles he kept going through it over and over :)

all I can say is he did a damn good job and I was a proud father to see him take off like he did. yes I did have to point out to him after he crashed that he would have to expect to go down a hell of a lot more but he seemed to be happy and thats all that matters...

Very cool pictures; especially the wipeout!

Basically, by the time your son is 16, he will be a 4x4 legend. These pictures will be cool memories for him then.

thanks to all for the replys. I have read the reply to him and he says he cant wait to do it again on friday.

the stolen chevy???? if the burnt out thing up there was a chevy then yes it's still there right in the middle of the first part of the sand pit.

the only problem we had up there was some chick and her dick was up there and saw us in the corner so they come over and started to do donuts in the puddle the kids were in. I just had the kids bring the bikes in and cool them off. debra and I were kind of hoping they would either flop it on it's side or blow a tire but no luck. anyways they left about 5 min after just kind of stupid I quess. they saw the kids having fun so they wanted to spoil it.
over all I think the kids had more fun in the puddle then they did anyways atleast the bikes look like they did.

we got home around 8:30 - 9:00 pm and unloaded the bike. the kids thought that was it but I made them bring the hose up and a bucket with soap and water and a couple rags later thier new rides are all new again. I told them this is the way it's going to be if they ride they wash..... END OF STORY....

we got them at crappy tire. ooooohhhh I mean Canadian tire. the quad was $1299.99 and the bike was $699.99 there is a place called atv for less and they are on the border of new west and richmond.

here's a link to there website. http://www.atvforless.com
they have all the accessory's (sp?) and they have many bikes and quads
we bought our kids helmet's there my boy's helmet was 49.99 and for the same 1 at richmond motor sports 319.00 go figure.
way cheaper for DOT aproved stuff.
