Was a GREAT trip. Thanks to everyone. This trip offered a little bit of EVERYTHING....OK, not quite everything; we didn't find snow:D. But everything else....mud, hill climbs, rocks, muddy hill-climbs with rocks......

There is no shortage of great challenges up there. We can't wait to do it again.

Don't feel too bad about leaving Boyzen, there was enough guys around that no one was gonna get left stuck on the mountain.
Me, Caveman, and Crimsen sort of left the second group behind at the end too. We'd gotten all the way to the end and were only a couple of minutes from the Chalet....so Crimsen and I waited at the Chalet for about a half-hour, and I figured that the others must be taking a brew break in the fields just before the chalet. Then we headed down and the three of us waited at Caveman's trailer for another half-hour of so.

Sorry to hear about your carnage AllWagon. That's the first time I've left a group without being absolutely sure that the rest are all right to get home. Won't happen again.

Carnage list........hmmmm......

Shawn lost a bead but we managed to reseat it and get him rolling again, so I guess that doesn't count as carnage.

After getting Shawn going again....ten feet later, I put a three inch gash in my sidewall.....kiss one tire goodbye. Damn it, I have two tires with not a lot of tread left, and two with LOTS......of course, it has to be one the tires with lots of tread that I have to kill.:(
I also lost my front license plate....it's somewhere on the mountain.

Sorry, but I've forgotten the name of the guy in the white jeep.....busted rear axle.

Crimsen....busted ring and pinion (probably).

AllWagon...busted transfer case.

Am I forgetting anything??

I'll post pics tomorrow.....too late now.....tired.

Thanks for the phone Crimsen, I can't believe that mine was dead and so was Tony's.....Crazy!

Big thanks to Shane for giving me that 50km tow to the highway and Tony and Al for the lend of the tools[31].... The jeep got towed to Boyzen's and the wife had to come and pick us up; Oh is she happy!

That transfer case is hooped; hooped in two or three....Unfortunately, so is the tranny....... I guess there was something in that mud hole after all.[21]
Thanks Guys!!!!
Will post picks later....

well it is official. pulled the third member, and the retainer ring that hold in the race for the bearing to keep the carrier in place came loose some how, and falling out, causing the carrier to flop around in there and fuck the pinion up real gooder.
