We got out for a good ride yesterday, put on 130km exploring some old mining trails we found last weekend but didn't have time to check out. Had to put the rain gear on a few different times, but not for long as the sun would come back out again.

Same pic as a ride last year in Sept, this time no snow!

Made it to the saddle between Toad and Red (different from the ski hill) mountains, looked for an old pack trail but never saw it.

Still a bit of snow here and there, elevation was about 6500'

This is where my Kodiak almost slipped off the trail last fall when there was a couple of inches of snow!

It doesn't look as steep in the pic as it really is, but this is the tumble the quad would have took if it went over!

The Kenville mill site where the ore was crushed before sending to a refinery. We wanted to wander around, but noticed that there may be a caretaker still here.

Good thing Speedy didn't come along, he would have had this Jeep stripped and packed out on his quad!

isn't that the jeep bert reynolds drove in "deliverance"?

So, are the power tools to strip the Jeep up there, or to do the repairs to your Jeep to make it back home![f][15][15]
