Sucked in some water in a deep mud hole and threw a con rod out the side of the oil pan. [xx(]
Anybody know of a good low km HO engine for sale?

Oh damn![j] I don't know of one off hand, but I know a guy at work who I can ask. He seems to be a parts/engine magnet. I'll post up as soon as I know anything. Is there any specific year you want?

That bites, Chris. Sorry to hear it.
On the 'other' board, there was someone selling a 4.0 and tranny not too long ago. check on there if you haven't already. I think he might even be in your neighborhood....

Well $750 later I have a "new" engine.
Got one from a Grand with 130,000 kms on it.
Of course then I discovered my motor mounts were shot, the water pump wasn't working well, my exaust manifold was cracked, and so on. Man that was one expensive dumb-assed mistake.
I toyed with all sorts of other engine swaps, but when it came down to it I know the Jeep engine and it was the easiest swap.
