hey guys
I never worked on an axle but it's time for new gears now that I put 35s on.
now I have 3.73 gears with Eaton limited slip.
What do I need to install 4.56 gears ?
what's a good, cheap locker I should get for a daily driver ?

Gotta agree with KBB. I don't seem to have troubles breaking my open 10bolt with 4.11's. 4.56's and a locker will be nothing but broken parts..

nope dont wast ur time[no] corpate 14 bolt full floater with 4.10 gears between 2$ and 400$ depends on brakes and how complete it is. They are also the cheapest to buy a detroit locker for 475$ taxes in and bullit proof[fire] on 35s the only change is your rims now u need 8 stud [36]the way it was meant to be!!!!![36] and if you do break an axle your pulling it and still driving home [8D] ...but seriously u wont brake it ever[36][cheers]

10 bolts suck!

got dana 60! =-)

Oh crap! You're talking about a rear diff arn't you? That's even worse!

I'm sorry buddy but take it from someone who has learned the hard way.. sinking money into a 10bolt is a waste of cash. They might be OK under a jeep or a sami... but under a fullsize you are just asking for problems.

No. It's easier on driveshafts and transmission, harder on axles.
