What kind of truck.....I know Chevy has a bulletin out that warns tecks about people using K&N filters and putting to much oil on the filter. The oil travels up the air induction tube and takes out the sensor before the mass air.

I also run a 350 Vortec in my jeep with a K&N filter and have had no troubles with the mass air or sensors.....

The Toy MAFs are also sensitive to over oiled K&N's. If its not damaged you might be able to just take out the sensor and clean off the oil. Then go drive down a really dusty road to absorb some of the oil off your K&N. They work better when they get dirty anyway.

i am driving an 01 4Runner it seems to be weak on power, i'll take out the sensor to see if i can clean it, maybe i should just buy the after market one that gives and extra 10 hp?

Throw on a TRD supercharger if you really want more power.
