I just got my tranny in to my truck, E4OD. it works awsome, but the only thing that I have conserns about it that its got 2 neutrals, there side by side P-R-N-N-D-2-1, has anyone ever heard of this and or what might be the problem, I don't want to have to ripp it out of there and tell the shop that I got it from that its screwed..
any info on this problem would be great full...
thanks for your time.

it's an overdrive tranny so
it should be P-R-N-D-3-2-1

if you only have 3 forward gears then something is wrong

probably blew the 3/4 clutch in the tranny. My 700r4 tranny had p-r-n-n-n-2-1 when it went...

well got my truck back. the problem only cost $250 bucks to fix cheap ya right. any ways the problem was in the removal or install of the tranny, one of the valve arms got bent, go figure, and they also had to put in another siloniod pack for the over drive, I tell ya, these ford truck are a hell of a lot more expencive then I remember them to be. it all works now they say, the test is when I go out in the bush this weekend and 4x4 it.

thanks for all your guy's help.

next up is the pivot bushing in a dana 50ifs
