ya, definitely worth having. Especially for the longer trips. makes it more fun to be able tyo talk etc on the drive up, and good for breakdowns etc.

Wish I had one for my truck this trip, but stupid me left it in my 4runner when I sold it...[2]

For a brand new one expect to pay about $100 for the radio, and another 50-100 for a decent antenna -- the antenna is the important part, so don't cheap out on it. Get a good wilson flex or K40 and also get it tuned properly and you'll be real happy with it.

Hey buckle I have a setup that I might trade for an ......I-pod. Let me know if your interested! it is a cobra 18? I think with a good tuneable ant with cable oh ya the ant has a mounting plate and a spring at the bottom so you don't break it. I had the ant tuned for the system when I got it I had it in my scout for about 1 month then sold the truck (but I took mine out Big_Ern LOL). Any way if interested let me know![cheers]
