89XJ ON 33s...for now. Parts sitting on the shop floor. 8000lb winch, rock sliders, front and rear custom bumpers, dana 44 and 9" rear end and more on the way.

Most guys do it the other way... 4.2 liter carbs are junk... even the new ones barely work.

87 YJ, 2.5" BL, SOA Dana 44's front and back, 8274 warn, 36" TSLs, 350 SBC/SM465/NP205, no lockers, and beat to shit, and my daily driver to boot.

if you are making it carbed DO NOT USE THE STOCK CARB OFF OF A 4.2!!There are manifolds out there that convert a 4 barrel onto a 4.2 manifold.The stock carbs are nothing but trouble and are very expensive.You could run a small 4 barrel and not only would it boost a bit of power but if you get a decent carb everytime you go up an incline it wont sputter out.That is why most people convert from these carbs to fuel injection good luck.
