When you buy a new or rebuilt pump the usually come with a stud, nut, and washer that is for installing the pulley. I just thread the nut up the stud, screw it into the end of the pump with the washer between the nut and pulley and tighten it down. I use an impact gun but if you don't gots one you can hold the pulley by hand and tighten till its on or you can't go anymore. If you can't hold it to get it all the way on just mount it in the vehicle put the belt on finish the install. Ifn you needs the stud and nut I gots some o dem.

a bolt, nut and washer and one of these: http://www.tools-plus.com/vis20r.html, they work great for fan clutch removal/install, turning the crank by hand ect. Very strong chain on them, I broke a leaf spring in he middle of nowhere and just wrapped the leaf pack with it and drove home no problem

I prefer to think of us as a Drinking Club with 4x4 problems !!
