View Full Version : 78 dana 44 "big hub" question

SO, it turns out my buddy has a Dodge Dana44 front that has (we think) Ford knuckles and the "big hub" that we where told is only on a couple years of Ford... like 77-79 or something.
Does anyone have any input on this??
We can't seem to track down the short side outer shaft. He's been told he's SOL.
Should he give up or are they still available somewhere?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

MrNs site lists a ton of lengths with part numbers
get a good measurement and look it up

Basically, he's looking for 1 or 2 outer shafts, or a complete short side and 1 outer for a spare.
If either of you guys have something PM me with a number to give to my buddy.
Thanks for all the help!
JC

That's shitty.
Hopefully we can get him at least one to get the truck functional again, than he can focus on digging up a Dana 60 in the future.

How does $99.95 for the lot sound:D
(hubs and shafts)seriously though make an offer as they are just collecting dust.

Not all Yukon stuff is offshore it just depends where they get the best deal from . Some of their stuff that wasnt offshore is and some that was isnt any more . as long as it meets their specs they then repackage and sell it under the yukon brand . Randys R&P also sell Dana Spicer stuff (basicly anything they can make a profit off I think) but they dont ship here anymore

here is another link for some ford axles etc
the prices seem pretty good http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/b-102_chassis_parts.htm

we also have ordered from broncograveyard.com. stainless steel hardware/bolt kit for a 78/9 bronco
for some reason our order took 3 or 4 months to arrive and repeated phonecalls and emails
everytime we called they claimed it had shipped until finally we got someone good on the phone that said he knew for a fact it hadnt shipped due to the Province not being listed on the order
within a month of that call we recieved the order and were very pleased at the product and price,
even more so when the next month they sent a duplicate order.
