Hey, can you guys do me a favor and tell me, what would be a reasonable asking price for an 88 Jeep Cherokee good condition, new ujoints, new stereo, new rubber, great interior condition? I was asking about 4500$ OBO

For that price....it would have to be in GREAT condition....and the new tires had better be 35" swampers.
Just MHO, but despite the fact that the Cherokee can be made a good trail rig for a reasonable price, I routinely see them adverised for half that.

As an example...I'm not about to start searching the buy and sell for you.....but a quick search on Ebay for ended sales will give you a good example.

Although these are all U.S. dollars, at current exchange just add $245 per thousand. So a $2000 U.S. truck would be $2490.
Again, just some examples. Also most of these examples are a lot newer....so unless your '86 is built........you get the idea.

Yeah I got a 90 Cherokee, 4 inch lift, decent 31's, cd player..etc..etc...be lucky to get 3 grand for it. Best to just keep it and play with it. It's wierd, they are nice rigs but the prices for them right now are in the toilet.

sold my 86 for $500

i dont need people to get me,i just need people to get out of my way

if you put 20 grand into a 30 grand buildup, you dont have a $20,000 rig-you're just $10,000 short of having anything.

bought a 90 cherokee limited - full load - leather, air, power seats, black alum running boards[35](for sale if anyone's interested), body in very good condition (no rust at all), roof rack, very clean for $1800 a couple months ago..

I paid $1,800 for a 91 with slight rust and really bad paint.

If it looks perfect inside and out and has low km you can get as much as $4,000 for it, but you have to be willing to wait for a "family" buyer not a wheeler. Most of us would choose to pay less for an ugly one and bomb it with Tremclad :)
