if i want to paint my truck black, would i have to just sand the clear coat off of the factory paint or could i just spray paint right over it? how hard is it to make a good looking camo? liek forest camo

just sand it till dull with 600grt, if u dont sand it it may peel when u drag it threw the bush.

If you are using enamal, 320 is fine enough, if base clear then 400 min, 600 better. Just sand it enough to make it dull & don't sand through to bare metal. If you have rust, snad blast it, then sand & prime with an epoxy based 2 part primer so it's water proof. If you camo it make sure there are no sand throughs & your primer IS 2 part as the flat paint WILL absorb moisture.
