i have a front running gear out of a 79 bronco same gears as my 89 with ifs , how big of a project could i end up with? has any one done a conversion on a newer bronco, could use some info to see if i want to be walkjng to work for a few weeks wile i fight with it?[blah]

it's a 2-3 day job if you gots tools and a welder, got the radius arms too? and track bar? drag link? if so it's not as big as it looks, get rid of the old, insert new. weld or bolt on new brackets, coil buckets, more or less it

Did mine in a day, my trucks an 82 f150, you will need the stock brackets for the radius arms, unless you want to make some, coils out of a 78-79 1/2ton, weld on a mount for a trackbar, and get a draglink made up(the one off the 79 is to long) So if you know somebody in a machine shop who can build you one or yo can do it yourself it's really not hard, oh ya you might have to change the yoke on the front diff,I just used the one off the TTB it fits[cheers]

if i had lots of money it just build a 79 bronco but i got my 89 real cheap
spent $10,000 just to get your jeep as big as a stock bronco?
