Hey I was wondering if 33x12.50 R15 Tires would fit on to original Stock 1991 SR5 4 Runner rims? The spoke kind or do i need to get new tires...I'd like Mud Terrains from Procomp i think i just dunno if its better to just get the xtreme alloys with them or do I HAVE to or can i just add those on later???

No point changin rims unless you need tires, so i would do it all at once or just run the new tires for now. Its a bit of a stretch, the sidewalls will bulge a bit and it may wallow around side to side a bit on the road, but its doable, although some tire shops may not want to do it.

Most stock rims are 6 to 7 inchs wide, I was advised by a tire fitter that to fit a 12.5 inch tire I would need a 8 to 10 inch wide rim.

dooooo it if those are 7" rims then they would rock offroad lower them down and they will not fall off the rim at low psi plus the real width isnt 12.5 its about 11.75 or so. put them on and see how they ride. if they bulge too much then youll have to get new rims. oh yea and dont get the mud terrains get the x-terrains! they are soo awesome.

I'm runnin the same tires on the stock rims of my Scout I thnk they are 15 by 6.5 or 7 and they fit with no problem but Wade is right they are a little hard to handle on the street but they look a little bigger than 33 with such a narrow wheel.

hey Ok so the Rim size is a 15x7 now i think 33x12.50 R15 is a 15x8 Recommendation(What ya said Taz:D )...but i'll see what the shop guys will do haha

Now with that said I have like $950 To spend on tires, I want 33" tires and may need the rims Does anyone have a good recommendation for this range or am i screwed around Vernon????
