[iagree] plus I want to put a big roller cam and a 408 stroker with a blower and speed density dose not like that type of stuff and low RPM its not a rock crawler nor a jeep!!

you're stroking the 5.0L? to 408cui i didn't even realize that was possible

from what i have heard the ford racing maf kit is a good product i may purcashe it in the future (to upgrade my current maf

also crane makes some decent roller cams to work with maf/computers

no Im not stroking the 5.0 but a 351W to 408 the biggest you can go with a 5.0 is a 347

the A9L computer is the favorite
just run that and a mustang harness and forgo the conversion kit

you easily go 355 on a 5.0 stroker and larger if you step up to a $2000usd engine block

my truck gets pulled down to the bottom of the tach more then I would like

you need better gears then eh

i run an A9L and painless kit worked well for me (could not find a stock harness for cheap)

i know about the aftermarket blocks they are sweet but seem more for racing than anything

if I was going to run a after market block then I could a 351W into a 460 small block but that cost way to much even at cost!!

new world block goes 4.20 bore
bottom end of a Ford fits 4.25 stroke and the cranks were available in the old Motorsports catalogue
= 471" of cubic $$

I need better transmission gearing but that isn't really available off the shelf, you must run an auto

can a mass air conversion even feed a 408" + blower ???
the origonal question was for a 5.0 now you are in a different ballgame
I would use a TEC from Electromotive

yes mass air can feed a blowen 408 stroker 100mm throtle body and mass air sensor. all I want to do is convert my 5.0 bronco to mass air whan I rebuild the motor in the next year or so
